Following on the photos from April 29 and May 19, here is finale for Tender 6 and Reliable of Utica. As of this posting, they are 2.5 nautical miles off Shinnecock and 80′ down, precisely placed and not sunk. My guess is that soon this section of this chart will be updated.
Here is the last daylight for
Tender 6.
Here’s the final journey
for Reliable
of Utica.
Thanks for use of these photos to a generous gentleman. More photos can be seen here.

Tugster – Can you tell me if the Shinnecock Reef is also the final destination for the Green Bay/Grouper and if she’s already been sunk? Thanks Deb Wiegand.

Hi Deb– As of yesterday, Green Bay/Grouper was still in Lyons. Having said that, the state has plans to reef 27 more boats from the Canal including your old boat. These reefing are planned between now and August and will create or add to reefs off Smithtown, Moriches, Fire Island, and Hempstead. Since the state will have to spend $$ to prepare the boats for reefing, now and no later might be the time to step forward and present the state with an alternative.
