There’s an old pattern recognition puzzle . . .  one of these is not like the others . . .

An Oshkosh FMTV on a US-flagged Maersk ship is not something you see every day.

If tugster posts consisted of single photos, the one below would be it today.

It turns out that had I been on the shadow side, I would have seen more of these vehicles.

All photos, WVD, who sees unique cargoes now and again like here in desert tan, here in ag green, here is Mirage camouflage, here in a different desert tan . . . and there have been more.

Of course, the really unique cargoes might be the ones enclosed in the mystery boxes.

Definitely some sort of military truck, probably FMTV made by Oshkosh.  Some of the numbering is Hebrew.

And there’s a bunch of them, up there

squeezing under

the Bayonne Bridge, as they and the rest of the cargo

aboard the Norddeusche ship

rounds Bergen Point on the way to Port.

All photos by Will Van Dorp, who has seen military trucks and other vehicles atop the boxes previously here, here, here, and here.   Once I even spotted a cigarette boat way up there.
