Yes, the Purma Plus works perfectly! I’ve run a roll of film and all 16 frames look fine. Not bad for a 65 year old camera.
Meanwhile, I see that tug Chancellor is also on the block in this auction. Even though she is 26 years the junior of Grouper, her hull looks much more decrepit. Grouper’s topsides are pretty rusty, but the hull is solid. Those Great Lakes boats were built tough to break through winter ice.
