recognize it?
yes, that’s what we see along NE US as the USCG 140′ icebreaker tug.
As it turns out, two of these 140-footers work with 120′ barges for maintenance of aids to navigation.

There was a plan for a number of these ATON (buoy tender) barges, but in the end, only two were built, The 12001 is assigned to the BRISTOL BAY but last I knew she hadn’t been used for a number of years. Both barges were built by Marinette Marine, completed in 1991-92.
