I did this post just over a year ago; note the prominent change happening in the Manhattan skyline, as seen from the north coast of Rockaway Queens. The last time you saw the tug shown here was December 2011. Any guesses what Patty was towing yesterday? Answer tomorrow.

We saw Patty in mid-afternoon heading north past Norton Point—must have been returning from that job in the Rockaways. Not having seen Patty before, we remarked on what a curious and charming little tug it was. So that’s Patty! 🙂 What’s the green awning?

No photos, unfortunately… we were quite far out from Norton Point while Patty was moving up on the inside…
