Launched two years shy of four score years ago, William Oscar Decker has appeared many times on this blog.  W. O. entered life in the harbor as a steam tug.  Here W. O. works the excursion trade at the Waterford Tugboat RoundUp  September 2008.  In the background against the bulkhead are Tug44, Gowanus Bay, and Spooky–all previously featured here.

W. O. was built in Queens and first worked for the Newtown Creek Towing Company.  Get the vitals here at the South Street Seaport Museum site.  Decker “excurses” up to 12 persons at once in season.

See W. O.‘s insides here, if you missed it in summer ’07.
