I’d thought this Patrick Sky, shown in this August post. But she has an older brother.
The name board offers proof positive: it’s Scotty Sky, ex-L. G. Laduca, launched 196o at Blount Boats, tankers. It turns out that Patrick Sky, ex-Gowanus Trader here and here, was also previously L. G. Laduca II.

I thought that nose fender/bumper whatever was a sheep hanging by its legs, like something out of Road Warrior!

Yeah, it is kinda funny looking! Blout looks like an interesting operation. I sailed up by it in Tiverton/Bristol this summer. They are currently either constructing or restoring a small passenger ferry. Fun to watch.
