It surprises me that some readers have not recognized the Bayonne Bridge, as appears on my “logo” above. Perspective can change perception; playing with that is a joy of photography. The Bayonne won a beauty contest in 1931. Can you identify the bridge below?

It’s looking north at the Pulaski Skyway taken mid-river in the Hackensack with my back to the Lincoln Highway bridge aka 1-9 truck route. The Lincoln Highway link is a must-read.



Did you guess that was the George Washington, locally called the “geedoubleyou.” By the way, the vessel whose neck we’re breathing down is Urger, making its way back to its freshwater canal habitat.
