Yeah, I've been off the radar the last few months. Sandy dropped a large tree through the middle of my house, and both the boatyard where my boat is and the marina I work in, in Stony Point and Haverstraw, were hit hard. I'm finally starting to get some of my life back in order, but I've still got a ways to go.

Magnificent pictures. I've always admired Clearwater for her beauty, and for what her people have done to make the river what it is today. As a child I never saw cormorants, striped bass, egrets, herons, osprey, or the families of eagles that return year after year to Haverstraw. Even seals show up, something that was unheard of in decades past, and I truly believe it's due to those grassroots groups like Clearwater and Riverkeeper. We owe them our gratitude and support.
