Sorry, I haven’t seen a thing new there.
But I did note that John Heald’s blog of the 17th has a few nice shots of the tugs with Carnival Splendor, and they also offer what looks suspiciously like a WWII two stacker destroyer with a chopper pad on her stern.

Not far off: It’s ARM (Armada de Mexico) Valentín Gómez Farías (P110), formerly USS Starling (AM-64), a WWII minesweeper with upgrades like the helo deck. Wasn’t Carnival Splendor in Mexican waters when she broke down?
