It really tugs at my heartstrings to see the old girl looking so well. I worked on her for about a year in 1984/85 with Andre Armbruster, helping with a refit in prep for the trip to Quebec in May of ’85, and joined the crew for the voyage under skipper Jay Bolton, remaining aboard throughout the summer of ’85 and returning to Philly in the fall. I have a ton of pictures from the refit and the trip in a box around here somewhere. I’ll have to dig them out and scan them. Thanks for the memories! She was a grand old lady then, and it’s nice to see her still under way.
