		<description><![CDATA[We were out kayaking in the harbor early Sunday morning (March 14).  Lots of debris like that in your last photo in the water.  Very high water and exceptionally strong ebb current: down the Hudson the current was moving at 5+ knots.  Hail and, unusually, thunder and lightning.  Interestingly, no commercial traffic, not even ferries, encountered during a 6-hour paddle -- there were some fragments of talk on the radio from which we gathered that it may have been restricted because of large debris in the water.  Can&#039;t find any details, though.]]></description>
