hello les thanks for phone number of sam lawton. that number i rang its someone else. what was it 813 469 3634. ps i got five service manuals for the engine from colorado railway. we spent 2 hours digging into the archives. they have atleast 8 train carts full of box’s with parts manual scrips these boy’s know their buissness thankyou colorado. next i research the generator. and the electrical i have to talk to tugboat musiem i hope their is one in columbus mississippee.. may be you have another contact for the EMD 657C…I hope ….thankyou … Tom and Jason

Thanks for info, to day i went to the colorado railway musiuem. EMD 567c 12 cylinder. meet with the engineer tomorrow. can’t get parts there. don’t get me wrong they have crates of the stuff. but i can get skematics.. and some good knowledge. so the engine was used for trains. im trying to find the captain of the Rose thats next step little phone call see if he wants to sail her one more time. i hope to talk to the locale paper in columbus. see if there interested in the restoration story. if you have any idear’s love to hear them. must go brain is spinning it was a long day 4 days to go until we leave for the south. lets chat latter… Jason & Tom..

For EMD 567 parts you might try Sam Lawton at (813) 469-3634. Note that some 567′s can take 645 parts, and some were converted to 645′s–you may be in luck. Otherwise, you may need to repower at some point.

Sir Tugster, Thankyou for the best wishes. its been a long day. Tom and i started the day with a stressed chuckle. anyway payment has been recieved title is on the way. we leave for Mississippi saturday.. this is really happening. we are confident… things are coming along and we are heading in the right direction. ? for you . who’s the man that knows about the EMD 567. i just found out there are no parts maybe a locamotive restoration museum is the best way to go . looking for skematics on the engine…..lets talk some more lots to learn. tonight Tom and i read everyones input on the Brenda Rose. we shared a carming un stressed giggle, we will sleep easy tonight. her history is awsome ‘she’s a lady” pushing those chimney pots to pitsburg. love to speak to the captain.. all in good time… well cheers from Jason and Tom….

well i have to say it but my partner Tom and i have just purchased the Brenda Rose. first impression ‘she’s a lady’ seconded thought ‘oh lord’ ….. what have i done!…?.The adventure begins . Tom and Jason. on the Brenda Rose. we leave Denver Colorado in persuet of the Brenda Rose a long drive to the Tennisee Tombridge waterway. we must move her before the 1st october. more to this story when we first see her in person 1 week from now……..
